How do you know if a builder actually listens to you?
I’m trying to figure out who to trust with building my custom home, and it’s not as easy as I thought. So many builders talk the talk, but do they really get what you want? I came across Home Builder in Kelowna, and they seem solid, but I’d love to hear from someone who's actually dealt with a builder that followed through on their vision—not just pushed their own style. Any red or green flags I should know?

In my opinion, the best builds happen when there’s mutual trust and no ego. A solid builder won’t just nod along—they’ll ask smart questions, flag potential issues early, and make sure you’re comfortable with every step. Too often, people get swept up by flashy portfolios, but personality and communication matter more. You’re not just hiring hands, you’re choosing a mindset. That’s what truly shapes how your home turns out.
